Management is horrible. Very unapproachable and catty. They publicly speak ill of their own staff. There is a new Director, the staff is hoping things get better with her. Policies are not followed as in most periop depts. you are expected to treat each pt as the MD wants, not follow anesthesia Orders. You consent the pt who has nice metMD and it's expected
on first day of orientation trav got food poisoning and grandmother died. facility gave pass/fail test that wasnt disclosed to recruiter or traveler when asked about them / trav cx'ed due to test. no considerations were given to trav's personal situations.
