In low dates regardless of what you say. Shuffle babies mid shift. Floated with no training.

Rude and unhelpful to travelers. Float at least after 8 hours, sometimes every 4 hours or just when they feel like it. Full time staff treated like kings and queens, travelers like slaves.

Hospital is so understaffed it’s laughable. Never get my “mandatory” breaks. Assignments are unfair despite the Kaiser point system. Most days I will have all the scheduled discharges and take 4-5 admissions. Not safe! No pcts to help out, managers alter you charting, and constantly beg to work overtime. Admissions get to unit before you get to take report.

I completed the on-boarding process more than 6 weeks prior to the start of the contract. Start date was to be 10/7/19. Kaiser cancelled my contract on 9/30/19 after I had driven across the entire country for the position.

Friendly staff, great anesthesia doctors and breaks given. Nice area and hospital. They do not float you, but your schedule is changed and you will not work the holidays but you will be scheduled the day before and the day after.

Issues with patient acuity. Not traveler friendly staff is not supportive and management is never there or not involved. Equipment is broken and they don't repair it it just gets put back in with the working equipment. Patients and their care are last on the list they are treated like cattle.

I loved the unit I worked on. We were primarily made up of travelers so we all got along. After being there for 6 months, they cancelled me with 1 week left on my contract. I was pretty disappointed to say the least.
