10/05/2020 · Stepdown/PCU, 2020 Recommend: NO!

Had to quit this assignment. No supplies (med cups, glucometer strips, gloves). COVID time but no PPE. Reused gowns. Management didn’t care. 6 patients on 100% bipap with no monitoring, no continuous pulse ox. Found patients dead daily to several times per day. This was a horrific assignment.
Also, the facility is 98% spanish speaking. No English.

Urgent care drug screen showed amphetamines and hospital did not wait for send out confirmation and prescription verification (Adderall). Next contract/hospital used same UDS and prescription verification.
